Matters of Taste Catering office hours are from 9am to 5pm.
We appreciate receiving your order at a minimum of 48 hours in advance. We will accommodate last minute orders whenever possible; however, selection and availability may be limited.
The minimum order is for 8 people and pricing is listed per person unless otherwise indicated.
In the event that an order must be cancelled, we appreciate as much notice as possible. Items ordered from this menu may be cancelled up until 24 hours before your delivery without incurring a fee. Orders cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will charged in full.
Matters of Taste Catering delivers between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm, Monday–Friday, throughout the greater Washington metropolitan area. Deliveries before 7:30am and after 5:00pm as well as Saturday and Sunday deliveries are available for an additional charge. A delivery charge of $25.00 applies to deliveries in the District of Columbia. Delivery to Old Town Alexandria and Crystal City is complimentary with a minimum order of $200.00 An additional fee will be charged if equipment pick up is required. Please consult your Sales Representative for other delivery charges.
Unless otherwise arranged, orders will be sent on disposable platters & baskets. Rental equipment, china, platters, and chafing dishes are available for an additional cost.
Applicable taxes will be added to all orders. Tax exempt organizations must provide proper documentation.
From the Chef
All items should be served within two hours of receiving or put in a refrigerator. Some items may contain raw or undercooked meat, poultry, seafood or eggs.
*Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of food-borne illness, especially if you have certain medical conditions.
